I think if there are women's studies courses, there should definitely be men's studies courses, too. That's only fair if we're talking about equality. I'm still of the mind that we should just talk about people as people, regardless of race, religion, or gender. I've always been curious about how people even find out these things. I would never have thought about going to the Caribbean as a sex tourist, but then again, I've never considered sex tourism. Survived them both, with no apologetic groveling, ideology-swallowing or lasting scars -- just real honest education with some heated emotion-tinged debate involved. Nuthin' t'be afeared of. However, i only got laid by a classmate in the former course... and she was superb in bed, as i recall.
