Taking the stand as a witness for Park Chul, a long-time friend of Ok So-ri told the court yesterday that not only did Ok cheat on her husband with the Italian chef, but that they were still seeing each other. Meanwhile, the Italian Stallion reportedly has found gainful employment at a hotel in Hong Kong. And Park apparently submitted video and photos of Ok and the Italian to police, but it’s unclear whether they’ll show enough to be taken as evidence.

I have a video tape/downloaded CD evidnece which I showed/gave the police of my Hagwon Director illegally entering my house, spitting on me, assaulting me, taking my luggage out of my house, etc…But that wasn’t enough for the police, they said my employer was NOT GUILTY!
‘HI TECH KOREA,’ unless it’s used against them!

Put it on Youtube.
My sentiments exactly. Just post it on Youtube. I’ll be happy to run it here.
…and then get sued for ‘libel’?
If no longer resident in Korea, who cares about the defamation rap? Other countries don’t punish free speech in the way that Korea does.
If still resident in Korea, use iMovie or something to process the video and obscure the face and landlord’s voice.
#3 exactly, the cops aren’t going to do squat unless the incident was to be publicly aired. Then the guy would cop it because he’s shamed korea.
BTW, regarding the adultery law and the Italian Stallion, I was under the impression that it’s virtualy unenforceable unless the two adventurers are actualy caught in the act.
Or is there a waeguk clause (rumor beyond resonable doubt perhaps)?
I don’t own a computer, it took me months to find someone that would download my video tape to a CD. I’m sure I could pop it on Utube, but of course I’m still here and would be afraid of ANOTHER lawsuit. I’m thinking Dr. Phil or Oprah? I think it would take away the fun without the sound and the guy’s ugly Korean face.
More on topic…Someone mentioned before(bites me as well) that Ok’s husband hasn’t filed charges against the Korean man that had sex with his wife.
Is it defamation to simply show a video of someone’s actions without adding any commentary? If anything, the abusive landlord is defaming himself with his actions, tbonetylr wouldn’t have to allege anything, just show what the guy did, and leave it up to the viewers to decide. I lack legal knowledge of defamation in Korea – how broad is the definition here?
BTW, tbonetylr youtube videos contain audio as well as video.
#9, Read number six, the lawman said/suggested to dub the sound/block the face. The guy’s wife is in the video as well (she’s taller), she takes my luggage and breathes in my face/husband spits on me and admits it. I say… “I caught you that time,” because had spit on me before that and wasn’t filming at the time.
ok, he said “process” the voice, which I took to mean disguise it, rather than completely muting it. How about suing him for assault, or whatever crime it is to be spit on.
Oh I see, you tried that. Hmm… Well, at least you don’t have to spend time with the guy.
I’d like to hear from one of the Koreans who patrol this site about your situation. Maybe they can give you some advice. One thing is for sure, I’d put all over the internet once I bugged out of Korea. Might be helpful to some in the future.
Is it possible nothing was done because tbone is a foreigner? Naw, that wouldn’t happen.

What a beautiful couple!
