Irony is here. Just because she was born rich, she gets richer. Don’t miss the trademark of Fila on her pink vest. She contracted with Fila for acting as an exclusive Fila model with 10,0000,0000 Won over a year. And Fila Korea Ltd. is the headquarters of Fila group around the world. <— More detail is needed. Could anyone comment on it?

No word so far. However when asked by a reporter on what she thought about Korea, she responded by saying that “she always had a lot of interest in Korea.”

It is. But that doesn’t stop Koreans from sharing and downloading yadongs.

I am counting down till 2007 Hilton-hanbok morph.

I hope she has a smashing time in Korea; and I hope the hanbok turns out pretty for once (if there is a hanbok, there’s got to be a hanbok, and that hat…).

re: Fila (got me thinking too…)

    copied from Wikipedia

…The original Italian ownership Holding di Partecipazioni sold the company to US hedge fund Cerberus Capital Management in 2003, after the company over-committed itself to expensive athletic endorsements, at a time when margins were under pressure. Cerberus owned Fila through holding company Sports Brands International, which owned and operated all Fila businesses around the world with the exception of Fila Korea, which was a separate company operating the brand under licence.
In January 2007, the global Fila brand was acquired by Fila Korea, Ltd. from SBI. Fila Korea currently holds the rights to the worldwide use of footwear and apparel brands of the parent firm.

On a related note, Beyonce is also in Korea, and wants to visit Korea’s famous places:

Interestingly, I was watching “Deathproof” this weekend, and couldn’t help but notice that when they said, “I like her ass. She’s got a black girl’s ass,” the Korean subtitles read, “She’s got an ass like Beyonce.”

“She’s got an ass like Beyonce.”

Product placement in subtitles? Now I’ve seen everything.

I really enjoyed how Queen Latifah’s “I don’t want no Daewoo on my hands” in the movie ‘Taxi’ was translated as, “I don’t ride in compact cars” or how Robert DeNiro in ‘Meet the Parents’ dislike of smokers because “He thinks smoking is a sign of weakness” was translated as, “He doesn’t like cigarettes”. :)

Paris Hilton? In Seoul? Doesn’t Seoul already have a Hilton? Why does this city need another one? And what is Paris going to do without its Hilton?

Guys, it’s already happened: she was reportedly clad in hanbok when she appeared in ‘Mu Han Do Jeon’, a popular TV variety show.

    # 20,

Yeah, but that video was shot when she was 19. Let’s give her some credit and assume she’s learned something since then. Besides, I’ve found that no matter how dumb the chick is, with experience, she can eventually give competent BJs… ;)

Amazing how Paris Hilton’s actions still qualifies as news. Who the hell cares about this girl?

Yes, at least she is not appearing on “Mi Nyeo Deuli Su Da”.
Mu Han Do Jeon…Seems like there’s no limit to casting the guests.
And I bet all five guys already watched Paris yadongs.

Paris Hilton is a waste of skin. Koreans would be nuts to dress her in a hanbok. She would just give Korea a bad image. Beyonce, now that a real woman!

    #23,

If you think that video was shot when she was 19, you might want to read this.
“Because of U.S. Code 2257, the Kid Rock video will never be distributed without his permission. But what about Paris Hilton’s? According to the Times article, Paris Hilton receives profits from her sex tape. According to Blatt, “There’s no way of putting out the DVD unless Paris Hilton signed off on it.” Without connecting the dots explicitly, Blatt hints that the second video of Paris and Rick Salomon, the better-quality version, was produced subsequently, with both parties’ full cooperation, for mutual profit. “Put it this way,” Blatt says, “by looking at both tapes, I believe she’s aged somewhat since then, a different hair style, et cetera, more consistent with how she looked on [The Simple Life] than when she was 19.” (Ms. Hilton’s manager and agent were contacted several times to comment on this story but did not reply.)”
