prior to JFK, even with separation of church and state, Bibles were read in public and private schools, and prayers were offered, without someguy sueing the school, the state, and the federal govt.

you keep talking about the intents of the original constitutional forefathers, but I accuse you of playing LIBERAL TIME MACHINE.

Jefferson, who fails the definition of a deacon by St. Paul, still prayed and read the Bible and believed in God. His intent was probably never to stop children or teachers from praying in high school graduations or football games.

His intent was to stop religious authority dictating govt policy, thus protecting Catholics from Protestants and Protestants from Catholics. I dare to say, he never even thought about Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, etc. The whole thing came about because of Europe's bloody wars over mainly Christianity. Protestants and Catholics.

No such idea of separation of church and state even surfaced, despite equal or worser human suffering under Islam vs Catholic Christianity, wars lasting centuries versus under a century in the fight within Christians.

I guaranttee you the ACLU won't get involved if I was a teacher, and I put a Buddha statue on my desk, and decorated my classroom with Bosal statues and verses from their Holy book, and said something about reincarnation and good and evil and balance vaguely referenced, even though I taught English in highschool.

it's just people pissed off with an agenda against Christians, that's it.

"i’m confident the ACLU won’t bother him like they do to Christians."

Yeah, it's simply terrible how they question/have questioned the teaching of creationism - or "intelligent design" as it is now known - in schools. I don't think the ACLU poses any threat to Christianity in America, nor should they. Separation of church and state in the United States can be dated to Thomas Jefferson, who was probably a man of faith.

actually, when did Koreans start circumcision?

I think these being fully erect penises, you can't say they are circumsized.

this was thus to satisfy a female demon. Appease a female demon with abundant statues of a dicks modeled after a horse's dick, since it was the largest specimen these poor ignorant folk could find.

I've seen photos of an Indian phalic temple, where females pour milk over statues of enshrined, erect penises, and if they do it right, they are able to get pregnant.

mankind is interesting.

they worship female fertility statues, dicks, trees (still so in Korea, mentioned in the Bible for Middle Eastern rituals), etc.

i wonder how things will churn out if in the US, someone insisted they worship a penis statue in a public place.

I saw a short documentary clip on the Japanese penis festival once ( http://keepintouchwithem.tripod.com/penis_festival.htm ).

I didn't know Korea had a similar thing, and it's apparently a park so it's year round, unlike the Japanese penis festival (which, btw, is fun to say).
