Japan lost in World War II. So did Germany. Germany did better for mending after the war. You can wear Japanese Imperial Army shit and not get prosecuted and they still sing the Kimi gayo. In Germany, the words to the song were edited.

Neither were supposed to get high positions in the UN to begin with.

It's different for South Korea.

You can't penalize Croatia, Romania, Vichy France for Germany's war.

Japan and Germany shouldn't be expecting UN secretary general, security council anytime soon.

it's not a he did, I did, wah-wah situation. Root cause is who lost the world war after attempting to conquer the world.

If you don't get this, just read my last statement.

I blame Japan.

Too bad if it doesn't sit well with the anti-Japan crew. How many Koreans would favor voting for a Japanese Secretary General?

Wah wah wah.

Won't sit well with anti-Japanese nationalists?

Cry me a river.

After SK worked to keep Japan off the Security Council, why should Japan care?

Korea's been doing the reverse for years. It's called "Turnabout is fair play".

And Bolton hadn't anything to say about Ban overstepping his duties as Secretary General and sending back Taiwan's application to the UN? Funny...
