#9,

It's safe to say they had been living separate lives. I bet they haven't lived under the same roof for quite a while.

As for the reason why he thought going to the press was the right thing to do, my guess is he's using dirty tricks to gain the upper-hand in a divorce or get sympathy from a public that is not interested in him as an actor anymore and/or he had been busy living his own life, ignoring his wife's lovers until his friends got him all riled up about the fact that she was with a foreigner.

As to whether it's true they only had sex 10 times in 11 years, could be true, could be tit for tat. What can be said with some level of certainty, though, is that they weren't having sex with each other anymore.

My wife tells me that most of her male co-workers sympathize with her (she's overheard the chatter by the water cooler). According to them, it's totally understandable that a woman would take a lover if her husband prefers whores to her.

"Adultry laws difficult to use?" Not against a Foreigner!
The supreme court would not need a bug up their arses to convict him!

Guaranteed he won't return. I've heard, however, that the adultry laws are really difficult to actually use here unless the persons involved actually admit freely to 'coitus.' Other types of sex do not 'count' (Bill Clinton would love that, eh?)
That aside, I have to wonder if Korea has any laws like "constructive abandonment" If she and her husband have only had sex 10 times in 11 years then I would guess that would qualify and she could sue "him" for divorce as well. However, whether she was telling the truth about that or not is dubious.
As far as 'rocky,' is concerned...well...he obviously has had some good advisors and was right to leave since there is virtually no way that he could have avoided being dragged through the mud and could likely have wound up in prison if the supreme court got a bug up their collective arses. Maybe this will teach him to think with a different part of his body.

How about what? I like sex, but I don't like STDS, so I am serially monogamous and expect my partner to be, too. Since I'm looking for a companion, not an egg fertilizer, I don't really care what the man looks like, as long as he has good hygiene, is in good health, and isn't old enough to be my dad.

Wow, Ms. Ok is a blessed woman, for she was loved(the word f***ed is suitable, too.) by those talented men. Also well cared after by her husband. I envy her.
How about you. Sonagi?

#2 "I guess it goes without saying that his fleeing the country will be taken as proof of his guilt."

Well, I don't know about that. How many Koreans believe that there's any real justice in Korea? How many believe that one should face the consequences of their own "missteps"?

Hell, they'd run and hide too. I doubt that they would blame him or see it as a sign of guilt. It is, however, a sure sign that he ain't stupid.

I haven't read that Park Cheol sued against Jeong and/or the chef. I mean civil procedure to them. He can claim consolation money to the partners of his spouse. He'd better also file a suit for the tort action to his marriage.

Anyway, do u know Alienation of affections law?
