		<description>Re: 3, and it's link to the NY Post article.

That Post article, in turn, links to their editorial, "Unfit to Print."
http://www.nypost.com/seven/10132007/postopinion/editorials/unfit_to_print_.htm

Choice excerpts from the editorial:

"By now, most folks know exactly how much The New York Times despises the U.S. military.

How it detests any mission that involves U.S. troops - whether to protect Americans by killing terrorists or to help stave off a bloodbath in the Middle East.

How the paper works tirelessly to promote its anti-war, anti-military agenda...

Indeed, it would be hard to cite a news outlet more responsible for sapping U.S. morale - and emboldening America's enemies - than the Times."

The NY Times may have dropped the ball in terms of initially reporting the imminent awarding of the Medal to Lt. Murphy, and my point is not to defend it.

But the Post displays all the giddy, over-the-top Times-bashing you might expect from a Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloid that most thinking people wouldn't even use to line their bird cages.

Deserves all the serious scrutiny of a National Enquirer broadside against the Wall Street Journal.</description>

		<description>&lt;blockquote&gt;I guess even the NYT can’t ignore something relating to someone in their own backyard.&lt;/blockquote&gt;

Well, you see, that's just it --- they can. And did.
