Broadway and Korea

Funny, nasty?  Take your pick.  Top is the Korean musical JUMP, which is now on Broadway.  Bottom is Margaret Cho in “The Sensuous Woman”, which features everything from strippers to Richard Wagner’s music, also on Broadway.

    Speaking of Broadway, I recommend those who live in Korea & can understand Korean to see the Korean production of Sweeney Todd, which is closing soon. I was very impressed.

    Yeah, the guys (Music Heaven) that put on Sweeny did a great job, though it is now over.

    ^ You’re right. It ended its Seoul run yesterday, but it will be playing again in Daegu and Daejeon this December.

    I’m also pumped about Hairspray and Mamma Mia opening later this year in Korea. Except that I am stuck in this cultural hellhole which some people call Singapore. Ugh.
