The Caucasian race has its origins in the vast area beween Iceland and Ireland in the north-west and India and Bangladesh in the south east.
Thus, Caucasians of Colour (or their ancestors) originate from the southern portion of that area, roughly between southern Europe and northern India. Southern India and parts of Eastern India are NOT populated by Caucasians but by Dravidians instead.

The correct German translation for “Caucasian” is NOT “Kaukasisch” (which is a nonsense term) but “Europid” or, alternatively, Indo-European, named in this manner because the members of the Caucasian race originate from the area extending from Europe to India.

Especially for Dogbertt (who is fluent in German, Dutch and Korean) I insert a link in German to an article about Europids from which I take the decisive quote:

“Der Bereich des anthropologisch durch seine Körpermerkmale als Europide definierten Menschen erstreckt sich über Europa, das Mittelmeer, Westasien und Südasien.”

Roughly translates as:

Europids (Caucasians) originate from Europe, the Mediterranean Basin, West Asia and South Asia.

I doubt the quotes not simply because it appears in the Korean media but because it is inflammatory and peculiar-sounding, much like the “I could tell she was lying by looking in her eyes” quote stuck into the mouth of Daniel Barenblatt and because the quotes were reported second and third-hand. I’ll make things clear for you:

I do not doubt simply because of A (Korean media) but because of A (Korean media), B (peculiarness of the quote), and C (second and third-hand). A + B + C = I doubt the authenticity of the quote.

It doesn’t matter if you are in Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, the U.K., or the moon — there is no such bird as a “Caucasian of color”.

In the British societies of Hong Kong and Singapore where I grew up we used the term “Caucasian” in the manner described in the above-quoted Wikipedia article. And so I will continue to do, unless I take up residence in a country where a different convention applies, such as the US…

And, okay, “landed immigrant” is a Canadian term - I used to live for six months in London, Ontario - and for one year in Montréal, Québec, y’know…
