Cop Busted for Hidden Camera in Ladies Restroom

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for the police.

Now, a police lieutenant in Hampyeong, Jeollanam-do has been arrested on charges of placing a hidden camera in a women’s restroom in a bookshop in Gwangju’s Dong-gu.

The cop, who was booked without detention, was relieved of his position and is now undergoing investigation.

This comes on the heals of two incidents last month, the first in which a Goyang City police detective — in disguise and wearing a mask — was arrested and charged with kidnapping, sexually assaulting, and robbing several female motorists from the parking lot of Daehwa Station (leading to the resignation of the Goyang City policy chief), and the second in which a Seoul Geumcheon police detective was busted on charges of groping a female passenger on the subway.

Well, they’d better hope they don’t get stuck in the same pen as these guys.
