If you’re interested in Asian baseball, Jackson Broder, a writing teacher in Taiwan and part-time scout for a certain Major League Baseball franchise, runs “East Windup Chronicle,” a blog on “sports, art, politics and culture from the Pacific Rim.”
BTW, one of his latest posts is an interview with the guy running “Korea Beat,” another blog I’ve been meaning to link. Part of the excellent Galbijim family, it gives you straight news translations. Good stuff.
Then there is Mongdori, the “refuge for the expatriated.” Aside from being a private job posting site for foreigners living in Korea, it’s got a cool blog with lots of fun stuff. Be sure to give it a visit.
Meanwhile, if you’d like to learn more about the Korean reunification process, check out Korean Unification Studies, where it’s all Korean reunification, all the time.
And while I may have mentioned it before, I’ll mention it again — check out “Feet Man Seoul,” which in point of fact in NOT a fetish site, but rather a high-quality blog on Korean fashion. Click on over and enjoy.
NOTE: If I respond late to your emails — or fail to respond at all — I can assure you, it’s not because I think you suck. Things have been busy as of a late, and they’re going to get a lot busier over the next couple of months, so I beg your understanding if I don’t write back right away. BTW, I do read and appreciate the email I get, especially the “heads up” mail and nice “thank you” notes — they really make blogging an enjoyable experience.
