I don’t know — anytime I read “we have to work out some of the details” regarding a nuclear deal with North Korea, it’s not a good sign.

It’s probably too much to hope that what they say is what you’ll get.
It would be nice to close the chapter on N.K.’s nuclear program before the world has to confront the Iranians.
What a load of crap. The State Department has neutered Bush and will walk away with a fake ‘deal’ that’ll look like a victory, but which will eventually fall apart somewhere down the road. I know Bush wants some ‘wins’ for his legacy, but this is no win, it’s all bluff and spin. The US will be on the hook for providing piles of carrots in the form of cash and diplomatic recognition and the Norks will do little besides a few minor gestures that hide the real stuff.
