French Freezer Babies: The Novel?

The illegitimate daughter of late President Francois Mitterrand has sparked controversy with a novel that mirrors the “French Freezer Babies” case of last year.

One of Courjault’s neighbors in the central French town of Chinon, Marie-Francoise Canal, said Pingeot should have held back from publication out of respect.

Respect for… murderers? Since when?

Ah, also, apparently Mrs Courjault has a new lawyer: when she was arrested, the lawyer who voiced her denials was a man. Now it’s a woman, Me Hélène Delhommais — a woman can’t defend such a horrible murderer, so Mrs Courjault can’t be that bad…?
