Okamoto lovers are reacting to her loss the way North Koreans reacted when Kim Il Sung died.

No, Sprewer.

It wouldn't be me crying for Park Geun Hye.

What's so great about this rotten heareted hal-muh-nee, who has no specific plans?

She clearly won the hearts of her regional party, and was rebuffed by the voice of the rational citizens of Seoul.

This is as embarassing as worship of Kim Il Sung, Kim Dae Jung, etc.

It's a personality cult.

This photo also illustrates a weakness in the way Korea deals with "righteous" lawbreakers. Those two malingerers are malingering in front of the doorway to the offices of the New Right Union -- in other words, they are on common areas belonging, in part, to NRU. They are trespassing, and the NRU ought to be able to call upon police to remove them.

From what I understand, this is part of power struggle within the New Right Union. Unlike the "pure" New Right movement, the NRU tends to be very politicized and members are mostly pro-Lee Myeong-Bak (as opposed to Park).

Those people in the picture are Park supporters, who illegally broke into NRU office and demanded restoration of the NRU's neutrality. In the process, those Park supporters claim, they have been subject to violence by pro-Lee members of NRU, so there they are.

I personally find the NRU disgusting because it taints the name of New Right, a movement that is supposed to advocate fiscal conservatism and more sensible foreign policy (pro-US), and this incident only further negates the image of the NRU in m mind.
