Wow - a blast from the past. That harsh, old 90’s makeup, dark lip liner, and trademark scary Korean eyebrows. And the full, streaked saeng-meori.
The two pictures are like signs of their times. Back then, showing shoulder like that was something only the more wild (or stars) could do; now that people are baring shoulders as a rule, stars are wearing tube dresses.
Thanks for the nifty pictures. Brought back a lot.
I prefer the 1990s Hye-su. I used to watch her every Sunday in the drama, “Jjak” (짝), which was one of only three Korean dramas that I have pretty much watched from start to finish.
I hate the surgically altered faces in Korea and the fact that Korean women are getting unnecessary surgery. For example, why would anyone with Kim Hye-su’s looks feel she needed plastic surgery? And why do Korean women seem to choose the same fake-looking nose option? I wonder what the new fall nose style will be?

And yeah, plastic surgery also helps…

I don’t mind either version! Be tough to keep Wally from going off in your hand. Keep it coming Marmot! (Pun intended)
I remember that pouty 1997 look–lipstick drawn on way down around the bottom lip.
Finally, more pics celebrating boobies and less pics of churches and temples.
A happy compromise might be to photoshop scantily clad women into future pictures of old churches.
I’m pretty sure I speak for everyone.
I’m very sure you don’t.
pooper can speak for me
i for one really dont care about the churches and temples
seen one seen them all
boobs are different across the spectrum!!!
