A Tale of Two Photos

I’m still trying to figure out which picture is more disturbing — this one (taken from the Yasukuni Shrine yesterday) or this one (taken in Tuva yesterday). (HT to reader)

    Yeah… those ears are ENORMOUS.

    Actually, that kid looks pretty cute in that imperial army uniform, which may be part of the irony. I wonder if some enterprising Japanese organization makes it a Boyscout uniform…

    Regarding Putin. 10-15 years ago all that flab was actually muscle. I heard Putin was a black belt in Karate and Judo, both being popular KGB past times…
