I actually know something about this work. It seems that Branton has delayed this concert performance but is working on turning this into a full-sized musical, instead.

I can also link to a video I found last year of a piece that is from "Tiger" (I believe). It is called <a href="http://hypercon.net/~brinski/rbg_performance/chilseong.avi" rel="nofollow">"Chilseong"</a> and was from his summer concert last year. Note the seven-note motif in the bass; seven notes for the seven stars that makes up the seven stars of "Chilseong", the god that governs man's fate.

I got a kick out of this from the poster:

론 브랜튼의 서머나잇재즈 "타이거!"

Which is a straight Hangeul transliteration of the preceding English text. Why not:

론 브랜튼의 여름밤재즈 "호랑이!"

Anyhow, I had never heard of this gentleman, but you've got me intrigued. Does he perform often? Does he do some kind of Korean-Western jazz fusion?
