I bet this "sentence" would get the attention of their peers all over the ROK, much more so than any possible prison sentence. And it would be another step towards "reunification" -- a "win-win" for everybody. These kids will serve more time in the Korean military and consider it to be little more than an inconvenience to their lives. What message do they get from a two year sentence for raping and killing one of their peers?
