I don’t know much about Cornish nationalists, but I know a few chefs who would give money if Jamie Oliver would use a consonant once in a while when he talked.

The Cornish are a pretty interesting bunch. Read up on them - I think there are only a few hundred people who claim to be able to speak Cornish today - the last native speaker died in the 18th century - but there are conflicting writing systems, not to mention differing versions of the spoken language. Shouldn’t be surprising considering they have brought back to life - for a while, at least - an essentially extinct language. While I commend them on their language revival efforts, I hope they stop wasting their time and energy on Jamie Oliver.
I always hate it when well-heeled folk move in next door to raise the value of my property, stimulate the local economy, create wealth for the community and teach cell-phone thieving thugs how to cook. Drives me absolutely f*cken nuts.
