“Ubiquitous” is a word that crossed into Konglish and parody long ago. Of course parody is always better when somebody is serious about it.

    Around the year 2000, it was e-Korea. Now it’s u-Korea. Wonder how long it will be before this country drops the “u” for something else?

    If I recall correctly, the people responsible for promoting Busan in English are especially keen on “ubiquitous.” Wasn’t it Busan that was touted as the “City of Ubiquitous Power” on an Arirang TV commercial?
