Michael Bay Protects ROK’s Right To Blow Stuff Up (With Robots!)

Not since Jay Leno picked on the dearly departed KScene for a stupid fake classified has South Korea gotten this much attention drawn to it for something this babo. Oh, who am I kidding, I like Gawker Media posts, and I like them even better when they are connected to Korea and the English-oriented media here:

We’ll admit to a little cheating by peeking at MichaelBay.com to pinpoint the Transformers director’s whereabouts, but yesterday the peripatetic master of blowing shit up brought his Giant Fucking Robots roadshow to Seoul to generate some excitement for the movie’s June 28th premiere. According to the Korea Times, after some banter about how “foxy” lead Megan Fox got her job (”Just look at her.”), Bay got down to the deadly serious business of scaring his assembled Koreans fans shitless with his apocalyptic vision of our robot-controlled future…

In other news, I am seriously looking for a job this time. Put my notice in an everything! And since I won’t be writing for a living, I probably am going to become an obessive writer again in other venues…like this one! My pain is your gain!

Oh… look… a penny.

Only a penny? Don’t sell yourself short Mr. Bum, you’re worth at least this much:

    Oh NO!

Shelton’s back. You are so not needed here with your ridiculously boring and worthless writings about things like some bar allowing you to “DJ” one night- wow, what a sorry excuse for a blog entry that was!

I was very happy when your tenure of writing on this blog ended last year. Please do us all a favor and stay away!

I thought comment moderation was enabled to keep ignorant-assed posts like this from soiling the blog?

My dispute is with the quoted article…it says Bay was “scaring his … fans s***less,” but the KT just quotes a single line on his prognostications for the future, and it was only Megan Fox who says she was spooked. Hello? Yes, sci fi often tackles serious moral and ethical issues, but c’mon, its Transformers….

On the up side, the film’s actually premiering in Korea, and Seoul was apparently the site of the first press junket for it.
