Uh-oh (Korea Herald):
A political firestorm is swirling over President Roh Moo-hyun’s head-on attack of two leading presidential hopefuls in the Grand National Party on Saturday.
The GNP said yesterday that it will file a complaint with the nation’s election watchdog this week, accusing Roh of allegedly breaching the law that calls on government officials to maintain political neutrality.
As you no doubt remember, this is the same thing that got Roh into hot water back in 2004 and, if the current Election Commission members think like some former members, he will be in hot water again. Luckily for Roh (and the Korean public), he will likely only face some kind of censure this time since their aren’t enough GNP and Democratic Party votes to impeach him now.
And will somebody please change the law?
UPDATE: The DongA reports that the National Election Commission plans to issue a ruling on Thursday.

Law or no, badmouthing the other party’s candidates often backfires and adds to there support–for Roh to shut up it would take more than a gag order, it would take an actual gag
President Roh should be more cautious, especially if he is breaking laws. He might end up working on a chain gang, helping to dig some awfully long canals . . .

Politicos sentenced to life imprisonment or to the death sentence get released and invited to the Blue House, maybe Roh would be appointed as warden of the prison he would sent to…?
