The Stanford impostor also fooled the Santa Clara University ROTC [SFGate].  Cool photo, too.

Although this must have been pretty hard for a Freshman to pull off, I’ve been seeing this with grad students and postdocs for years. SU is the holy roman empire of universities. Every school has hr and student admin culture, and there is no communication university wide. So it’s an incredibly easy place for academic fraud. The Korean students seem to be constantly in violating the honor code. One of my students told me that at least half of his Korean cohort cheated. He didn’t say which half he fell into. When Chyung Dai-chul came, like most Korean politician/”scholars,” his golf game improved tremendously. I don’t think he was ever on campus more than a day.

But Indians and Chinese have their techniques on how they work the system to get visas and greencards. I’ve been speaking out about the liability issues on this for years but always get countered with “academic freedom.” I’m sure this will change things a bit. Next week it’ll probably be my fault…

More pics of Azia Kim here:

I found the pic of her chowing down on a burger particularly amusing.

There’s one thing I don’t understand and that is this: how did this seemingly nice KA girl get stuck with such a cheap porno sounding name like “Azia Kim”?

I would bet $50 that Law & Order would cast a white girl… however, I don’t think that’s necessarily bad (at least in this case).

I hope she doesn’t end up killing herself. Poor thing is on the way to becoming the Dog Poop Girl of higher education.
