While reading the link to the bird story (eggs found in the spare tire) I noticed another article which I found to be highly amusing…..
It appears that former photographer Bunji Kobayashi, a resident of Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, and 90 years old, has found a use for his wheelchair that hasn’t exactly impressed the Japanese authorities.
Apparently Kobayashi has been wheeling his way up and down the streets and luring young women (apparently in their early 50s) to sit on the front of his wheelchair by claiming it is broken. He assures them that if they sit on the front of it he will be able to get the wheelchair to work.
It is not the wheelchair that needs fixing….it is this smooth operator. Once the women are safely aboard his love chair he immediately begins to molest them.
According to the Mainichi - the police department has been flooded with complaints from women who claim they have been molested by a man in a wheelchairl. Evidently he gets around.
When questioned by the police, Koboyashi admitted his acts but unabashedly had this to add: ”It is embarrassing for me to have been arrested over such an incident at the age of 90.”

…which is quite an ironic thing for him to say since he obviously has no shame.
Wonder if Kobayashi is capable of popping more than a wheelie at this stage in life.

This is definitely an “only in Japan” story. The first time some old codger tried that stunt in the US would be the last, and he wouldn’t have any more use for those little blue bills.
This story reminds me of a sexual harasser I once witnessed on a Seoul subway train. He stood next to a few women in succession and rubbed up against them; one of the women was standing next to her boyfriend, who did nothing. They simply moved away. The slimebag moved next to me. I glared at him. He decided the mean-looking foreign bitch wasn’t so cuddly and moved away.
