It looks like that the NK general wanted to put the SK general on the spot, hoping that he would say something in response that would find its way to Washington and embarass the ROK government.
The SK general did a good job of reminding the NK general of the virtues of free speech while not offending the NK side and embarassing the SK side at the same time.
Ditto to 3. That’s what struck me most about this story. That there are elite Norks who are allowed to go looking for jokes on the World Wide Web. It’s a slippery slope. Next thing you know, they’ll be checking up on the latest Brittney and Brangelina gossip on TMZ.com.
The generals like telling jokes at another country’s expense, but I suspect they wouldn’t gracefully handle being on the receiving end of one. Come to think of it, that isn’t exactly limited to the northern half of the peninsula.

Hats off to the SK general.
I’m just impressed the KPA is pulling jokes off the Internet.
I lol’ed.
What the SK general said is so true. Wonder what the NK officials thought of that comeback lol
So — is there anything the North Koreans could say that would make South Korea walk out? Or stop giving aid to North Korea?

sewing: “Next thing you know, they’ll be checking up on the latest Brittney and Brangelina gossip on TMZ.com.”
They’re probably doing that already.

Seeing as how we can’t see the link anymore, would someone summarize the article in a sentence or two, please? Sounds interesting.
Wouldn’t you love to tell the old “Why is there only one fat man in North Korea?” to those NK generals?
