		<description>When I lived in Oakland in the '80s it was the murder capital of the U.S. This pales somewhat in comparison (although it's inexcusable behavior).

It might have developed more but at that time the Chinatown was just a couple of blocks long, near Jack London Square and the very ugly convention center.</description>
