The Hanky reports that North Korea has a new premier. In equally significant news, a farmer in Yecheon County has grown the biggest mu in North Gyeongsang Province this year.

Is that actually true?
And where’s the link?
No, I made the mu thing up to illustrate a point. I had no idea that anyone would care about that. Perhaps I should have thought of something less significant than growing a big mu.
The funny thing is, I remember recently reading a story about someone growing a giant mu.
I’ll try to find it.
No on this page there’s a picture of some horse radish legs for you to enjoy: not only mudari but mugungdengi as well.
(Gungdengi might be Gyeongsang-do dialect, though.)
Well, I figured it was in jest. Just to be sure, I found the Yecheon Nonghyeop site, but alas, no news on the latest radish harvest.
Somehow, “gungdengi” sounds like Gyeongsang dialect. “GungDENGi!”
