When Park CH was rebuilding it as Korea’s major tourist-destination, he filled it with cherry trees… they were still young when i lived there in 86… great results by now!
I was exercise-walking around my KyungHee campus this afternoon, and Man it was like heaven-on-earth with all the cherry and other types of blossoms — and Man it was crowded with drivers, photographers and promenading walkers, as bad as any regular day with classes! Families after church, dating couples, old folks, youths mysteriously away from their videogames, “everyone was there, and nobody tried to hide” (dylan)…
