Ten percent employment? Are you sure?

You confuse a vote for Jean Marie Le Pen as a vote in support for his policies. If it wasn't for the French electors' traditional mistrust of big political parties and their penchant for protest votes, Le Pen would have had a very short political career (apparently, its now on its last leg).

Resistant to market influence? Funny, I thought France was a member of the European Union.

Denial of colonialism? You must be joking. I'd say it's actually celebrated.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francophonie

And you're telling me that the French make good movies? That's certainly a cliche.

I've seen hundreds of French movies, if not thousands. Most of them aren't gems. To put it in terms you'll understand: watch Jerry Lewis's two French movies back to back.

Again, bashing the French has been done before. It's a cliche. It's lost its comedic appeal.

Delete this: "What? No jokes about the French army? I thought movie reviewers hated those?"

Cut and paste to make corrections and forgot to delete.

Complicate relationship with the French? Obviously, he has no relationship with the French, otherwise he's understand the meaning of the word 'cliché'. The only thing missing in his first paragraph are jokes about the French army, body odor, and Frenchwomen's hairy armpits.
