“Ampontan” has a interesting essay that compares the national flowers of Korea and Japan. It is interesting to note that the rose of sharon was referred to as far back as the Silla Kingdom (57BC - 935 AD).

korea is about the size of britain. that doesn’t strike me as being a runt. korea enculturated your people, provided the royal family, and donated quite a bit of dna to your bloodlines. not bad for being a runt, wouldn’t you say?
