In Pattaya, a Korean tourist and his five friends made a citizens’ arrest [Pattaya City News] after a ladyboy made off with some 3,000 baht stolen from the Korean’s hotelroom following some unspecified latenight services. The kind-hearted tourist didn’t press charges. (HT to reader)

I’m thinking this guy, looking back, has to rue the decision to “out” himself in front of 5 friends over $75 (assuming his friends weren’t similarly engaged with ladyboys in “horizontal activities involving a mattress and few clothes”). Could have been a long, uncomfortable plane ride back to Korea.

The Thai people amaze me to no end with their sexual liberality. I truly respect that. Unfortunately, I live amongst Koreans, a people arguably less sexually liberated (age, race, “orientation”) than I am. Ha ri su (sp?) looked really good when her internet bikini pics came out, but when she converted to 3-D the thrill was gone.
