The RAS tour that i’m going to lead to Tap-sa [Pagoda Temple] in Ma-i-san [Horse-Ears Mountains] and the Muju Gucheon-dong Valley (in Deokyusan National Park) has been postponed due to the expected bad weather this Saturday, and in order to include this year’s cherry blossoms. It will now be offered on Sunday, April 8th. I especially recommend this one, as it visits some of the most beautiful scenery in the nation and one of Korea’s most fascinating and visually-amazing cultural sites. Also included is Muju’s 1793 Hanpung-ru Pavilion. More complete information and making reservations is available by looking on the RAS website and then calling 763-9483.

I sent an email to the webmaster and RAS-KB about problems with links to the previous Video-On-Demand videos of the lectures….and I didn’t hear back…..Has the issue been fixed?
Don’t know, myself… what problems were you asking about?
I do note that MY lecture from January is the current one featured on that site — volume on it seems too low, and the lighting of me is just terrible throughout — i guess those were unavoidable problems resulting from our having to use a different room on short notice.
Update: Postponed again, due to logistical difficulties. {sigh} This tour will now be on Sunday May 13th! No cherry-blossoms, but still a lovely season…
