I think we can work something out. They’re doing all this over a paltry $25 million. As the ad on the left side of that Yahoo article mentions, the reward for capturing Osama bin Laden is also $25 million. North Korea has the world’s largest special forces, and they have a lot of time on their hands. Could there be a better way to prove your country doesn’t belong on the Axis of Evil? They catch Osama, they get the reward, the original $25 million, and they can switch their Banco Delta for a Chase Manhattan with free checking.
Well, was going to post about how the Macau government needs to keep the US on its good side…but that Osama Bin Laden idea would be pretty good. I think Americans would be ready to forgive a lot from the North Koreans if their special forces captured him…but that’s supposing that the American government doesn’t know where he is, and aren’t just waiting for the most appropriate moment to catch him.
see, if the Norks get the 25 mil, and don’t keep up their promises, and the whole aid deal is off. No aid. So they wasted everyone’s time and energy for what was already theirs. Not a terrible lot of money for a govt.
Brilliant Bin Laden Bargaining.
Kind of funny…
They claim they will continue their Nuclear development unless they are given money,
Yet without that money they can’t continue developement.
I’m not sure what that is, it sounds like a catch 22 but its not. I guess it’s just plain absurdity.
