I’ve been getting quite a few “white screens of death” where I get a blank white screen when I try to access the blog. This also happens sometimes when I try to post a comment. If any of you Wordpress monkeys have an idea why this might be, I’m all ears.

I am getting that on some of my Plugins pages, and from what I can tell, it’s the result of Dreamhost monkeying around and upgrading to a newer version of PHP5 and then panicking and redowngrading. Do you use Dreamhost? For some reason, I thought you did.
Nope, I have a virtual dedicated account at Media Temple.
It’s an all-new phenomenon for me, and I’m getting it too. Twice when I just tried logging in. Also at the aggregator.
When I logged in earlier, I got the Wordpress deafult theme, and thought maybe you were in between changing themes again.
Nomad—Nope, I was just trying to isolate the problem… to no avail.
What browsers do you use? I use Mozilla and it has been happening to me since the middle of last week. Clicking on ‘reload’ solves the problem. Don’t know if this is relevant, but I downloaded MS .NET Framework 2.0 at around the time it started.
See same symtoms here(occasionally) with Firefox 1.5 on Linux
Do you think it has anything to do with one of your Wordperss modules? If I knew little bit more about Wordpress, I’d browse through log files in search of anything susupicious.
If you get any blue screens of death, it may be due to my balls.
Firefox. Get it most often when I click on a name in the recent comment section.
Getting it a lot tonight (Monday at 21:45 Pacific Daylight Time). Firefox 2.0.0.2 on the Mac.
