I don't consider what happens on the Great Online Hallucination to affect the real world very much. Why does Korea take the Internet so seriously? The list is chosen ultimately by the editors of Time, I believe. I thought it was ridiculous that Time chose him as one of the most influential people, but considering that Rain's arguably the most popular male artist in Asia right now and Time probably had to include some Asian guys other than Kim Jong-Il, I guess that's understandable. @Seth Gecko:

Outside of East Asia, most people don't have a personal beef with Japan. I think.
