How did they somehow qualify to be experts in politics, economics, and military strategy, when almost all of them have no background and a lot of them had minimal schooling?

Are you talking about entertainers or the current president?

This guy should be waterboarded, expelled to North Korea and banned from traveling in the civilized world -- and I'm no fan of the Chosun Ilbo.

. . . Society must be sick and crazy,” Myung rages. He fingers the media as the main culprit for aggravating social ills. At a book launch, Myung said, “Bookstores used to be full of books on President Roh ,but now, there are only books on former president Park Chung-hee.
If these books are just praise but are thoughtful research on their topics, they could only help. Perhaps Myung is just blowing off steam but he might consider pointing a finger at the "386" Uridang fellows that have botched many things in this current administration rather than Roh.

actors and musicians should think twice before portraying political support. How did they somehow qualify to be experts in politics, economics, and military strategy, when almost all of them have no background and a lot of them had minimal schooling? Well, the schooling is a low blow for Koreans, because desirable higher education is harder to get, and failure to get it is used as a weapon against you for the rest of your life. I remember one of my father's company higher ups was constantly questioned for his qualifications, because like Roh, he only finished high school. In America, it doesn't matter. No one second guesses Bill Gates all the time. This guy's a pretty well known face. Cha In Pyo said something in Korean society was seriously wrong when Roh got impeached. I don't like the chosun, but I read it, because my father absolutely loves it. It's pretty clear they choose headlines that will start a fire. Yes, I should think several times before commenting. Chosun's political cartoonist is pretty good, though. Look at Roh. Passed the Korean bar. Very few can do it. Yet, when something goes wrong, it's because he didn't get into college.
