ps just to alert you guys if you don’t know already: a respected author has responded to bevers/matt at occidentalism.org. it ain’t pretty. here’s a snip:

pawi, u shouldnt be too concerned with occidentalism. there are many anti-japanese and anti-american websites that’s run by koreans. however, those haters doesnt represent the whole population of korea. in any country, u will find haters.
if somebody actually love or like occidentalism, then that person is probably racist and shouldnt be taken too seriously. when i first visited occidentalism, i thought it was a satire, sort of like stephen colbert report. i thought matt was poking fun at japanese right wing wackos. but i thought wrong… he was dead serious. i still find occidentalism very funny…
ps i think most people will find the website stupid and antikorean, we dont need foreigners or anybody to confirm that.

i think new photos need to wait 24 hours or so. Speaking from experience.
I believe, as wjk said above, you have to wait some 24 hours after you sign up for your gravatar to begin showing up. Gravatar has to rate ‘em first.

fair enough but just because i have a paranoid streak in me: if your telling me what you told me was some kind of implication, i don’t have anything to do with it. that is, if someone is harrassing you, it ain’t me. just so you know. that ain’t my style and besides, i harrass you here.
btw folks, i have some interesting news, matt at occidentalism is actually gerry bevers! can you believe it? i just knew it.

Ok, I waited 24 hours and still nothin. It says it’s so easy then I look and all I see are hyroglyphs. Not very helpful and I’ll admit that I’m monumentally naive but still. The gravatar’s there and it looks good. I’ve even got a back-up but I can only visit them when I go to that gravatar place. Damn the esoteric geek-speak!
Ideas?
