    Pictures were beautiful but I don’t know if I agree that the one was a hotel - I think that was William Franklin Sands’ residence while he worked for the Korean government….. Not sure though

    Always appreciate you posting up some of these old pics.
    I was pleasantly surprised last weekend walking along Chonggyechon and stumbling across a little nook that featured several pictures of Chonggyechon / Chongno / city Hall area at various points in time. Quite interesting. If you haven’t seen them, it is worth a Sunday stroll along there to have a glimpse.

    Great pictures, but I don’t understand why the rare appearance of a giant sea slug in the photo of the girder bridge didn’t merit mention?
