(NOTICE) Database overhall overhaul

Sorry for the interruption—I intentionally shut down the blog to work on the database. What I thought would be a quick job is taking much longer. Anyway, this blog may be on and off during the weekend as we conduct some much needed work. Apologies to the readers in advance.
