OK, things are pretty much back to normal here.
Rather than overwrite the files when I updated, I deleted the whole thing (with the exception of the config file, of course) and uploaded the new Wordpress files. I also made sure to update ALL the plugins.
And since I was cleaning house, I took the opportunity to remove the dead wood from my blogrolls and update my Blog Aggregator. Here is the list of blogs on the Aggregator (in no particular order):

A couple of other notes:
- Gravatars have been disabled for now. They were really draining resources (my account was being suspended every other minute), and I have a feeling we may have to wait until a new WP 2.1-friendly plugin comes out;
- The cute little IP-to-Flag thing will be reimplemented soon. A couple of other minor things need to be reimplemented as well;
- The template has undergone a facelift, as you can see. It’s still the same Sandbox theme, just slightly altered with no small amount of, ahem, inspiration from Openswitch, who also built his theme from Scott’s Sandbox. Anyway, if something look funny or you have some ideas on how to improve the look of things here, my comment section awaits.

i like this look, it’s cleaner and less encumbered.
as per improvements …
1) i’d shy away from blue for links and red for visited. the hover states could also use a little flushing out.
2) reduce the border width on the Flickr Photos to 1px and possibly in a different color from the regular links.
3) consider running the bottom of the design flush with the browser edge (margin-bottom: 0;)

Upgrading to 2.1… Yuk. I just did it in the hope that it might get rid of my problem with Iranian hackers. It didn’t. It just created more problems. “next_posts_link” and “previous_posts_link” have stopped working, and the image upload tool is completely screwed. Association between post id and post slug broken (pingbacks sent to wrong post). Blogroll and other links disrupted, but I think I’ve worked out how to fix that. The WordPress support forums seem to be full of upgrade problems, with not many answers!
What I now don’t know is: what damage was caused by the hackers and what was caused by the upgrade. Harrumphhh.

londonkoreanlinks—This appears to be the ugliest upgrade in the history of Wordpress. Most of the other ones went real smooth. Now, that being said, it’s been a great opportunity to clean a little house, upgrade plugins and spiffy up the bloog. BTW, I read on your blog that you were getting hacked by the Iranians, but by the time I read, it looks like the problem was resolved. What the hell were they doing?
