GI’s Sexual Abuse of Old Woman of S. Korea Assailed

Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) — A soldier of the U.S. forces in south Korea was reported to have sexually abused a 67 years-old woman. This is the most monstrous crime unimaginable in human society. Rodong Sinmun Monday observes this in a signed commentary. The U.S. forces in south Korea are infected with an abnormal sexual desire and sexual abuses are part of their daily routine, the commentary notes, and goes on:
You south Koreans should open everything to us and unconditionally obey us as “we protect” you. This is the view and contention the U.S. imperialists’ domination over south Korea implanted into the minds of the aggressor forces and criminals.
It is due to the shackling alliance between the U.S. and south Korea and the way of thinking of the occupation forces enjoying extraterritorial rights that there occurred in an unbroken chain such inhumane atrocities as evidenced by the fact that a soldier of the aggressor troops slapped a former lawmaker of south Korea on the face in broad daylight, an armored car drove over young schoolgirls to death and a GI raped an old woman.
There is a problem which should not be overlooked as far as GI crimes are concerned. The pro-U.S. right-wing conservative forces in south Korea including the Grand National Party (GNP) protect such group of criminals as their ancestral tablet.
The south Korean people can expect neither genuine human rights nor social progress as long as the U.S. imperialists’ policy of occupation of south Korea persists and the pro-U.S. conservative forces including the GNP are allowed to run wild, backed by them.
The fact that the above-said old woman was sexually abused by a GI brought the same disgrace and misfortune to the nation as the murder of the schoolgirls by the armored vehicle.

Interesting how the article likens the recent rape to the ’schoolgirls under the tank’ incident. Perhaps this signals the beginning of another anti-US ‘candle protests’ to take place in Seoul, a perfect platform for the lefties in South Korea to gain ground?

“As long as the pro-America GNP exists in South Chosun, the people in the South will not enjoy the true human rights and social progress.”

Entertaining this piece may be, but I find this article frighteningly similar to the anti-GNP/anti-US rhetoric that lefties in South Korea cry out daily. It is frustrating how painfully obvious the North Korean spies are among those lefties, yet the government has neither the willingness nor ability to bust them.
