I’m not sure if Persian classical music is your thing, but even if it’s not, give Shahram Nazeri’s Yadegare Dost (.ram format) a listen. It will make you cry, especially about nine minutes into Part 1. Thanks, Michael.

Great stuff–I had Iranian friends in high school whose parents played recordings like this (I’m not the Michael who tipped the Marmot off here).
