Barring a huge scandal of some sort, bank on Lee Myung Bak as next President of the Republic of Korea.

Regarding Lee Hoi Chang, he's a scum bag. I once overheard a conversation among US Koreans about some relative in South Korea standing in the "right line", with Lee Hoi Chang. Offering him some stuff, and getting ready to get appointed in some high position. They were so confident that LHC was gonna win and were promised certain govt places. All the soothsayers, jumjaengee's were supposedly predicting LHC winning, too. That solidified their hopes, for some reason. Anyway, then LHC's sons somehow being unqualified for military service came up, and I think it was all down hill after that.

I think a cartoon from English Chosun sum up Roh and Uri dang feelings about the recent poll results on Lee, Park even Koh.

Roh and his followers might be ready to launch all the negative campaigns towards opponents. That’s how they got the blue house last time over Lee Hoi-Chang, remember?

Asked what the most important factor is for the country’s next president, 44.5 percent of respondents said that he or she should have a ‘driving force,

In October 2002, two months ahead of the presidential election that year, 35.7 percent of those polled picked morality as the most important factor for a next president.

Ah, the pendulum swings; what a surprise!

Quiz:

"morality" is to _____, as "driving force" is to _______.

“The Bulldozer” does that mean more poorly thought ideas like the “English Village”?
I am true blue with Hannara but the last thing I want is another leader with an attitude of “Build it and they will come”. Why can’t we have leaders a lassie fair attitude?
I can understand the current socialist regime mucking things up, but why do the other guys have to do the same thing?
Are people that stupid in this country that they can be bought with their own tax dollars?
