Andy’s right, and I’ll go one further. Shes not pretty. The only thing that made her popular was her pure image. Now thats gone, and she has to compete amoung the skanky whore crowd, and if someone wants to look at a skanky whore they’ll go with a hot one like Hyo-lee or Jun Jee-Hyun.
It’s like when Gang Hye Jung(the girl from “Welcome to Dolmakgo” and “Old Boy”) had extensive plastic surgery. She was popular originally because she looked unique, but she tried to be glamorous. Unfortunatly for her no amount of cartilage sawing and implating crap in her face could compete with the korean glamour stars, so she just “plastic surgeried” herself our of her fanbase. Now no-one wants her.
It’s good for up and coming stars I suppose.
She’s trying to shed her little girl image with racy pictures. How original.
I’ll miss the old Gang Hye Jung. She was still a hottie a year ago. Now…whooh. I see she just made another movie, but the contract was no doubt pre-surgery. Similar to Jennifer Gray, who fixed her nose after Dirty Dancing and became unrecognizable to her fan base, ending her career just as it was getting started.
Speaking of young celebrities’s coming of age…Is it just me or did Boa lose way too much weight and/or got cosmetic surgery?
