I would have considered signed a much simpler letter, but the one in question contains a lot of rambling nonsense. What’s the letter about, the recent KBS show, or does the author want KBS to apologise on behalf of the entire Korean nation for a range of outrages going back years, including and not limited to a few tasteless coments by the KTU on sexual morals? And not just to his affiliated group, but to the whole foreign community, including chinese and japanese nationals who may or may not be offended. WTF?

BTW has anyone actually spoken to the black woman on the show who was supposedly insulted? Maybe she wasn’t even bothered by the whole thing - it’s entirely possible.

A succinct letter directly referring to the recent episode would be a much better idea IMHO. Put it in perspective.

I agree, and that’s why I chose not to sign it as well.

it certainly is a ramble. i would advise making it a clear, concise, readable and most importantly simple letter.

How much time will it take for a gang of netizens to begin harassing the employers of those who have signed it?

I created a torrent of the full video in high quality. You can download from http://www.mininova.org/tor/512615. It is my first torrent so any confirmation that it works would be appreciated.

I signed the letter. Is it a ramble… yes. But, in the abscence of something more concise. If it gets results. Great.. and to me that’s the point… to draw attention to the matter works for me.

The link to ihaveseoul’s torrent it broken, but it’s easily fixed. Once you click on it you’ll get the 404 - Not Found error page. Remove the dot (.) that follows the 5 and then reload the page.

    Ihaveseoul, thanks for uploading it.

I fixed the link. I’m the broken-HTML elf around here. There’s still the problem of ihaveseoul not seeding the upload, which means that although we download the torrent, there is no file available. Gotta seed!

I have only one concern about the online petition. All of the e-mail addresses could be easily harvested by spambots… I already receive enough spam without this petition allowing the mailto: tag so easily.

In any case, I for one doubt that KBS will even acknowledge it. Maybe forward it on to MBC… and they can help…

I posted a clip of the show featuring the offending moment on youtube - it’s here:
