I thought the girls like 딸기 who were involved in zottotv and the like were busted and even had to do “community service” at the group home in Gyeonggi-do for former comfort women. I also believe that a lot of the (admitedly excellent) work that they did was in Canada and they got busted when they came back to Korea. I have a ton of stuff in the archives (like this) about that case if you run a search.

Well, for starters, Lee Seung-hee is, legally speaking, about as Korean as I am. She’s from Ohio, after all. Secondly, I don’t believe doing “hair nudes” overseas is illegal—the problem is that “hair nudes” of “a strongly sexual nature” cannot be distributed in Korea. I seem to recall that being an issue when Lee Sabi did her work for Playboy—Playboy’s Korean partner, Spice TV, wanted to release her “hair nudes” here, but the Information Communication Ethics Committee said no.

BUT if she’s being charged with breaking these laws even though she “broke” them in ANOTHER country, then I don’t understand why:
