And for some heartwarming news…

Transgender entertainer Harisu (31) will marry her boyfriend early next year, reports NoCut News.

Harisu broke up with her boyfriend, a clothing salesman six years her junior, earlier this year, but they’ve recently gotten back together.

Anyone else find it ironic (and funny) that an outfit called “NoCut News” is reporting this one?

One of the Korean music TV channels broadcast a “reality” series of her and her boyfriend earlier this year. Really strange stuff.

I’d say she’s got more balls (pardon the pun) than 99.99% of the people in this country, or anywhere else for that matter. She deserves respect for having the courage to march to her own drum in this stifling society.

I’m with SomeguyinKorea in respecting Ha Ri-Su’s courage. I can imagine she has suffered a lot at the hands of her countrymen. I find it surprising that she’s an abuse target here on this blog.

I guess I’m a bit of an oddball in that I would welcome the chance to meet her. Trapped in a man’s body, she simply had to become a woman. I don’t understand what makes people think she really had any choice about it.

Perhaps that’s not the issue, though. Maybe it’s her choice to become a celebrity over it that has people most upset. I have to admit that I would respect her even more if she were working quietly as a bank teller or something like that.

Kampfsport, I’m not targeting him for abuse. I actually know of a male field grade who would also like to come to know him, Biblically. Field grades are kinda like celebrities, but not really, so maybe they’d hit it off?

    Mark:

There’s no question that Ha Ri-Su is attractive, so it’s not surprising that the military officer you refer to might dream about making it with her. Nevertheless, she is getting married soon, so we should show a bit of respect now, shouldn’t we?

Well, the command-sponsored field grade is married as well, and this is Korea, so….

Him? Now, how am I supposed to trust your good intentions?

“Well, the command-sponsored field grade is married as well, and this is Korea, so….”

About the link…I find that’s highly hypocritical of the government when you consider the fact that many of the married politicians have “lady friends”.
