Anyone taking a collection for this man’s legal fees?

Well, can’t say we haven’t felt like doing this before:

On Wednesday, a 26-year-old driver who was stuck in a traffic jam due to a sit-in near Myongdong got out of his car and fought with several demonstrators. The man, identified as Kim, got back into his car and drove through the demonstrators, running over four of them.

Kim was dragged from the car and beaten up by other demonstrators. The demonstrators who were run over had minor injuries, while Kim had to be hospitalized.

The police plan to book Kim for the accident. But many Internet users, sick of downtown traffic jams caused by the rallies, have posted articles supporting him.

For what it’s worth, Kim is claiming he ran them over accidentally trying to flee from a threatening situation.

I too have far more sympathy for Mr. Kim than the protesters. I think everyone is more than tired of these troublemakers that block traffic, which I am pretty sure is a violation of law, as well as un-safe.

If someone made a video of him running over the protesters, I would set it to music and give it away for free even.

Legal fees? Let’s buy the man a steamroller and sign me up to “ride shotgun” — in the literal sense.

I agree, no sympathy for the demonstrators.

What were they protesting? I doubt it was the human rights conditions at the Kaesong Industrial Complex.

Hopefully it was the Corean Teachers Union.

    Advice for Mr. Kim:

Keep the shift lever locked in first gear next time, and locking the doors wouldn’t hurt.
