Speaking of insights in to Korean culture that make it across the pond, here’s a couple of posts about Korea, featured in Slate, by one Rolf Potts who used to live here in the 90s.
“Attitudes and Feelings, both desirable and sometimes secretive” . . . great title and Ms. Long Bong . . . I died laughing to see that name printed on the gravestone. This is really funny if one knows any Korean.
