I have predicted North Korea will not live to see 2009.

I also predict that NK will begin blood lettings far short of a sea of fire in 2007 and until they collapse or are taken out.

The next NK-logical step after using up their two big cards (ICBMs and nuke tests) is to turn into the PLO of East Asia. Really, it will just be a return to things it has done before - targeted strikes at outsiders - mainly South Korea. Sea clashes, maybe even blown up passenger planes, lone gunmen, maybe even commando teams, suicide bombers and boats, you name it.

I believe NK will turn to somewhat frequent acts of terrorism beginning in 2007.

I believe they will be signs that NK believes it is heading toward collapse.

I just hope when collapse comes, they are not able to coordinate a large scale "sea of fire" strike against SK and possibly Japan.

I do think there is some hope that mid-level and even some high level North Koreans will decide to ignore orders when/if they get the picture that the regime is going to die no matter what.

"Yeah Mizar, gotta love living in a country where your children can be shot dead in their classroom by a nut who can get firearms as easily as I can buy a pack of gum in Seoul. Thanks but no thanks. "

Not very well informed, Michael? Missed the news that the US has one of the lowest rates of violent crime in the world? Didn't happen to catch any of the stories about Korean mass murders? Aw shucks. Ignorance sucks.

I'd sooner quote Pawi/Nulji on North Korean affairs than Kim Myong-chul, who I can't believe has any credibility left on any issue. I'm surprised Pyongyang hasn't had Kim killed, for his drooling rants consistently make North Korea seem even more diabolical than it is.

Given the lack of oomph seen in the first test the phrase has been changed to "puddle of fire".

Please update your Nork Newspeak dictionaries.

The "sea of fire" reference was to the comments made by his father, Kim Il-Sung some 12 or 14 years earlier? I thought those comments were limited to making a "sea of fire" in Seoul, yes?

Flunkey:

Meaning #1: a male servant (especially a footman). Synonyms: lackey, flunky.

Meaning #2: a person of unquestioning obedience. Synonyms: flunky, stooge, yes-man, dweeb.

Meaning #3: Kim Il-Jung having a nuclear weapon inserted & detonated inside of his anal orifice by the U.S. without the use of lubrication.

Wait a minute, let's not dismiss Mr Kim's proposal out of hand. We do what he says, and he lets us live. You guys got a problem with that?

I meant the norks trot out "flunkeyist” when they want to spank the South for the joint war games with the U.S. or whatever.

From the random insult generator: "You half-baked running dog, we will annihilate you with a fresh revolutionary upswing!"
